Mongolia grants Japanese nationals 30-day visa-free visit

In accordance with the cabinet meeting’s decision of 24 March 2010 holders of Japanese passports staring from 1 April 2010 are exempt from Mongolian visa requirements for their travels to Mongolia for up to 30 days.

WORKING VISIT OF THE IMMIGRATION DELEGATION TO THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Mongolia Immigration Agency’s delegation headed by Mr. Dashdorj Murun, Director General has paid a working visit to Korea upon the invitation of the Dong-hyeon Seok, Commissioner, Korea Immigration Service. The parties discussed and exchanged views and opinions on expanding further cooperation in all possible way, in particular, staff exchange program, mutual protection of interests and rights of nationals in each country as well as fighting against unlawful activities. During the working visit of Mongolian delegation to Korea Immigration Service a Memorandum was signed by the Heads of Immigration Offices of the Incheon and Chinggis Khaan International Airports. With signing of this MOU the parties expect to improve their cooperation in combating illegal migration and facilitate information exchange.

Working visit of Mr. Kyu-ho CHOO, Commissioner of

    The Korea Immigration Service delegation headed by Mr. Kyu-ho CHOO, Commissioner, KIS has paid a working visit to Mongolia as a guest of Mr. Murun Dashdorj, Director General of the Office of Immigration, Naturalization and Foreign Citizens of Mongolia 19-21 July, 2008. During his working visit, Commissioner Choo had a courtesy call on H.E. Nambaryn Enkhbayar, President and H.E. Sanjaagyn Bayar, Prime Minister of Mongolia.
